You still have time to register for this year’s Bell Tower Festival parade.
Entry forms are available at the Greene County Chamber office in Jefferson and it is sponsored by the Jefferson Rotary Club. Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen says it’s a great opportunity to promote your business or organization for free.
“I mean think of all the people that are lined up on the streets that you can parade your business or organization by for nothing. But, if people show up the day of (the parade) you can still be in the parade, so it’ll cost you twenty bucks. So they’re trying to deter people from showing up the day of (the parade) but you still can.”
You may also enter the parade contest in which you can enter in one of three categories including commercial, non-commercial or thematic. Other information you will be asked to provide is the length of your entry and the number of vehicles.
Registration forms must be submitted by June 8th. The parade will be at 11am on Saturday, June 11th. Call or stop by the Chamber office for more information or to register. A link to the registration form can be found below.
