Emma Olejniczak tossed a one hit shutout Wednesday night as Perry defeated Carroll 3-0 in Raccoon River Conference softball action.  The junior right hander was dominant allowing only 3 baserunners on the night while striking out a season high 13 Tigers.  Alyssa Kruger provided a key 2-run homerun in the bottom of the 6th inning to give Perry a 3-0 lead.  It was the third hit of the night for Kruger.  Rachel Kinney added a pair of hits, while Olejniczak contributed a double.  Victoria Hegstrom gave Perry the early lead with a sacrafice fly in the bottom of the 4th inning.

Perry improves to 3-3 on the season and 1-2 in RRC action and will host Boone tonight beginning at 7:15.  You can listen to the game on KDLS and raccoonvalleyradio.com.
