June 3rd-5th is Iowa’s free fishing weekend.

Adair County Conservation and the Greenfield Optimist Club are holding an event Saturday to promote the sport to area youth, at Lake Greenfield.

Kids ages 15 and under are invited to learn how to fish, win door prizes and eat a free hot dog lunch.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the clinic begins at 8:30 a.m. For more information call 641-743-6450.
