Staff at the Stuart Public Library are gearing up for their annual summer reading program.

Coordinator Gabrielle Doud says this year’s program has a fun theme. “Our theme this year is ‘Get Ready, Set, Read!’, so it’s a sports theme.”

The program kicks off with an event Tuesday at Lawbaugh Park. “We’ll have lots of games, registration will be set up and we’ll have pizza for lunch.”

The free event takes place from 10 a.m.-noon.
