The Perry parks and recreation department is hosting a youth theater workshop later this month.
The four day-long daytime series starts Monday, June 20th. Young performers will learn how to embrace their inner actor while working on fluency and accuracy. The program is designed to help children build self confidence and learn about performing.
Practices will be held Monday through Thursday starting at noon, followed by two final performances Friday at 2pm and 5pm.
The workshop is open to all students in fifth through eighth grade and the cost to participate is $20. Registration is due by June 17th. To sign up, stop by the McCreary Community Building or call 465-5621.
