A major project on a highway connecting Guthrie Center to Adair continues to see progress.

Manatt’s Incorporated, of Brooklyn, Iowa, says they’ve paved from Highway 44 to near 292nd Street, or about halfway to Adair. Construction is set to resume Monday.

Crews hope to have the project complete and road reopened by the Fourth of July.
