Springbrook State Park, near Guthrie Center, is seeking volunteer campground hosts.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources says the hosts serve as ambassadors for state parks and are provided free camping on site while volunteering. Duties include assisting staff with light maintenance, providing information to the public and completing administrative work.

Volunteers are required to serve shifts of at least one month, until the camping season ends October 31st.
