The ADM Tiger baseball team found themselves back at home last night in Adel as they welcomed in Ogden for a non conference match up.
The Tigers came into last night’s contest looking to get back on the winning track after loosing their last 7 contests. The bats certainly in action for last night for ADM as the Tigers put up 9 hits on the night, but would see a similar trend continue as the Tigers fell to Ogden late 6-5.
For the 5th time this year despite out hitting their opponent, the Tigers would fall in a late inning rally. This time it took extra innings to decide the Tigers fate as Ogden’s Conner Paulsen drove in his third RBI on the night to seal the deal in the 8th.
Jack O’Brian had a big night for the Tigers driving in three of ADM’s 5 runs on the night. Chase Ritchie would be credited as the loosing pitcher for ADM after tossing five innings on the mound allowing just one run with no walks and four strike outs.
The Tigers now fall to 2-9 on the season but will look to turn it around tonight as they remain home for a non conference match up against Dallas Center-Grimes. First pitch is slated for 7:30 pm.
