Bell Tower 2016-GoldThere is a full day of events and activities on Saturday at the Bell Tower Festival in Jefferson.

The day starts with the Jefferson Firemen’s breakfast at the fire station from 6 to 10am. Then the carnival rides, vendor booths and Bell Tower tours all begin at 9am. Greene County Chamber Tourism and Events Coordinator Angie Pedersen reminds everyone where you can get the ride tickets.

“You can get the wristbands at the ticket booth. You could’ve saved five bucks if you bought them at the Chamber before but if you didn’t still get up there and ride those rides.”

Other morning activities include the motorcycle poker run, registrations for the motorcycle show at the People’s Trust and Savings Bank parking lot and registrations for the Show and Shine Car Show at the corner of State and Vine streets, followed by the parade from 11am to 12:30pm. The Jefferson VFW and American Legion will host a spaghetti fundraiser meal from 11:30am to 2pm.
