Perry High School’s Activities Director is in the running for National Athletic Director of the Year.

The National High School Athletic Coaches Association has announced Tom Lipovac is one of eight finalists for the honor.  He was nominated by the Iowa Girls Coaches Association based on program development and expansion, facility improvements, professional service to high school athletics, professional honors and professional contributions. He was also a finalist for the honor in 2010.

Lipovac and fellow finalists will be honored during the National Coach of the Year Awards Banquet which takes place in Louisville, Kentucky later this month.
