Greene County batted just three times, but put up a season best 20 runs en route to a 20-5 non-conference baseball victory over Carroll High (0-6) on Thursday night at Allensworth Field in Jefferson. The game was halted by the 15-run rule.

Junior Dylan Fouch retired the side in order in three of the four innings for the win. He allowed five runs in the second on six walks and two hits. Fouch picked up his first varsity pitching victory.

Offensively, the Rams had 13 hits and they batted around and then some in all three frames with a total of 37 batters facing three Carroll pitchers. Tyler Beger had three singles and four runs batted in and Tom Gannon doubled once, singled twice, and also had four RBI. Reid Lamoureux doubled and singled and drove in one while Branden Miller singled in two runs. Wade Adcock was two for two with a pair of singles and he had one RBI. Logan Lansman had a pair of singles, and Austin Delp singled once.

Greene County played errorless baseball while Carroll was charged with five errors.

Coach Mark Sawhill’s team is 3-6 and will host 11-3 Roland-Story tonight at Allensworth Field on KG98 around 7:30 p.m.
