The Guthrie Center softball team is halfway through their regular season schedule and their bats are heating up. Four players have batting averages of .345 or better, and all of them are freshman or sophomores. They are Genevieve Hoover, Savana Fuller, Emily Pavelka and Makayla Hoing. Additionally, the freshman pitching duo of Katie Thompson and Fuller is performing well as well. The Tigers head to Van Meter Monday.
