Several candidates ran unopposed and there was only one contested race, for the First District Supervisor Republican nomination, which affected voters in only a small portion of Guthrie County, leading to low voter turnout in Tuesday’s primary election.

The voter turnout for the entire county was 8.2%. Voter turnout for the contested race was even lower, at 7% among voters in the First District.
