A Perry man was injured following a bicycle vs truck accident Saturday night.

According to the Perry Police Department, at 9:33pm, thirty year-old Zach Armstrong of Perry was traveling south on Fifth Street, when he went through a yield sign at the intersection of Otley Avenue and his bike hit a westbound 2002 Dodge Ram that was driven by Gustavo Garcia of Perry.

Armstrong suffered non life-threatening head injuries and was transported by Dallas County Emergency Medical Services to Dallas County Hospital. His current condition is unknown at this time. Garcia was uninjured in the accident.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
