Jensen Sanitation, which serves the residents of Panora, Guthrie Center and Lake Panorama is reminding residents about proper recycling.

The company says all recyclables must be rinsed out, and anything with food or drink remaining in it will be left behind.

They’ve been getting negative feedback from the County landfill for collecting many dirty recyclables.

The company adds that styrofoam, used paper plates and plastic food bags, including those to hold shredded cheese and cereal, are not recyclable.
