Stuart Aquatic Center employees and Stuart Rescue are being recognized for their bravery after quickly acting during a near-drowning incident at the city pool earlier this month.

Good Egg Days organizer Shannon Behnken says residents are brainstorming a way to recognize the heroic act during this weekend’s events. “We’re very grateful for the help they provided and their quick response. We’re talking about doing something to honor Stuart Rescue and the Aquatic Center employees who go through extensive training to be on their toes out there at the pool. They did an excellent job and we appreciate all that they do.”

Good Egg Days takes place Friday-Sunday in Stuart. Raccoon Valley Radio will be broadcasting live from the Big Red Radio all day Saturday.
