Several personnel changes were approved by the Perry School Board at their meeting Monday.
Among them are several coaching and advisor hires including Dennis McDonnell as the head high school boys’ basketball coach, Melanie Harmon as the assistant high school swim coach, Casey Young as the assistant high school girls’ track coach and the promotion of James Prombo from assistant to head middle school boys’ track coach.
Additionally, Brandon Weeks and Alyse Garcia will serve as the National Honor Society advisors, Chris Marks will be the middle school publications supervisor, Jordan Bettis was hired as an elementary English as a second language teacher, Daniel was hired as a seventh grade math teacher and Cherie Tiffany will now be a half-time bus driver.
Several resignations were also approved including an elementary special education teacher, two high school social studies teachers, the NHS advisor, the assistant high school baseball and softball coaches, high school cheer sponsors, head middle school boys’ track coach, head middle school football coach and two P.A.C.E.S. assistants.
