There’s no excuse for having nothing to do in the Perry area this afternoon.
The Perry farmers’ market takes place from 4-7pm in the Perry marketplace at the Raccoon River Valley Trailhead. A variety of baked goods, fresh produce, crafts and other items will be available for purchase from local vendors.
The Perry Community Band will also put on their first free concert of the summer tonight.
The Thursday performances were scheduled to begin last week but were rained out. There’s no cost to attend and everyone is invited to enjoy the live music starting at 8pm in Pattee Park.
