Greene County ISU Extension if offering a workshop to help with interactions between parents and childcare providers tonight.

Director Lori Mannel describes what the “Parents: Friends or Foes” workshop will cover.

“This workshop will help childcare providers and teachers identify their own feelings with working with parents. Participants will review the stages of parent development and potential communication strategies.”

The class will be led by Extension Family Life Specialist Dr. David Brown and there is continuing education credit offered for childcare providers that attend.

It will be at the Extension office from 6:30 to 8:30pm and the cost to participate is $15. Pre-registration is encouraged but walk-ins are welcome.
