A major intersection in Stuart will close next week.

Administrative Assistant Nadine Avey says the intersection of White Pole Road and Division Street will close Wednesday for reconstruction.

A new eastbound to southbound turning lane will be constructed and storm sewer improvements will be made as part of the project.

There is no set date to reopen the intersection. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
