The Guthrie County Conservation Board and Guthrie County Pheasants Forever are teaming up to hold a hunter education course next month.
Anyone ages 12 and older and born after January 1st, 1972, needs to complete a hunter education course before receiving an Iowa Hunters Safety Certificate or license.
The course takes place Thursday, July 14th from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Friday, July 15th from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Springbrook State Park Education Center. A $10 entrance fee is due on the first day of the course.
