The Boone baseball team defeated Perry 12-2 in 6 innings Thursday night at Boone. The win keeps the Toreadors in first place in the Raccoon River Conference. Tanner Schminke paced Boone finishing 4 for 4 with 4 runs scored and a pair of RBI”s. Jackson Hull added 2 hits and 3 RBI and also earned the win on the mound spinning 6 innings and no earned runs. Perry managed 6 hits from 6 different players with Caleb Olejniczak providing the lone RBI. Kyle Nevitt took the loss on the mound pitching 5 innings and allowing 7 earned runs.
