Breanna Hunter struck out 8 Perry batters as Boone defeated the Jayettes 4-1 Thursday night in Raccoon River Conference action.  Hunter surrendered only 3 hits all night with 2 of those hits coming in the first inning.  She finished the night retiring the final 10 batters using an off speed pitch to keep the Perry batters off balance.

Emma Olejniczak threw 6 innings allowing 4 runs and 5 strikeouts.  She also provided a double to round out the Perry offense.

Perry falls to 3-8 in RRC action while Boone improves to 6-6 in the conference.  The Jayettes will pack the suitcases and travel all the way to Decorah this weekend for the Viking Tournament tomorrow.
