After taking a non conference win against Knoxville the ADM Lady Tiger softball will be gearing up for a tough week ahead with a tough schedule for the week that will include two class 4A top ten rematches.
ADM will hit the ground running right away to start the week as they welcome in class 4A’s top ranked team and Raccoon River Conference opponent Winterset to Tiger stadium tomorrow night. These two squads squared off earlier in the season back on June 6th with the Tigers defeating the Huskies 4-1 in Winterset. ADM held Winterset to just 5 hits and forced three errors for the contest; an outcome that the Lady Tigers are looking to repeat Monday night.
After a non conference road game at Chariton, ADM will take a short road trip to Dallas Center to take on the 10th ranked Fillies. ADM squared off against an injured Dallas Center-Grimes squad back on June 9th, defeating the Fillies 10-0 in five innings. When these two teams square off for their second match up of the season Dallas Center-Grimes will enter Wednesday’s contest all healed up and looking for revenge on the Lady Tigers.
ADM will then finish out the week with another non conference road match up this time at Grand View Christian Thursday before taking on conference opponent Ballard in a double header; part of a rescheduled game from an earlier season rain out.
You’ll be able to hear both Winterset and Dallas Center-Grimes match ups on K107.9FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
