A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 1600 block of 130th Street to transport a stray dog that wondered onto the property. The owner of the dog was soon determined and retrieved the dog.

A deputy was advised of a gas drive off at the Casey’s General Store in Scranton. The identity of the driver is known and she will be given one week to pay for the fuel or theft charges will be initiated.

A deputy spoke with a resident in the 1000 block of Sandoe Street in Grand Junction about her having a stray cat with kittens at her residence.

A deputy was asked to check an abandoned vehicle parked on Parkland Avenue and 210th Street.

A deputy spoke with an out of state resident about an identity theft issue that occurred in another state.

A deputy assisted the Iowa State Patrol with traffic control at a single vehicle rollover accident that occurred on Highway 25 near 280th Street. The ISP covered the accident.

A deputy was dispatched to the 600 block of Irving Street in Scranton for several German Shepherds that were intimidating and acting aggressive towards the neighbors.

A deputy was dispatched to check the identity and assist a male subject that was riding a bicycle on Highway 4 near 210 th Street and was experiencing mechanical problems. The rider was found a place to stay in Jefferson for the night.

A deputy was asked to meet a Guthrie County Deputy to take custody of Randy Dean Kienast 37, of Bagley, who was wanted on an outstanding Greene County Warrant for Failure to Pay Child Support.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
