Due to Monday being Independence Day, the Perry City Council will meet in regular session this morning.

Items on the agenda include the authorization for the transfer of funds from the emergency levy fund to the general fund and the road use tax fund to the hot mix asphalt resurfacing fund.

The Council will then consider a mosquito control contract with Dawson, participation on the SolSmart Program and approval of a fireworks display request.

Finally, the second readings of ordinance amendments in regards to no parking on a portion of Otley Avenue and changes to the fence construction requirements.

The meeting starts at 8am in the Clarion Room of the Security Bank Building.
