Janier Puente ripped his 7th home run of the year last night as Perry fended off Bondurant Farrar 9-8 in Raccoon River Conference action.  Puente delivered a 2-run blast in the first inning as Perry built an early advantage.

Kade Van Kirk, Kyle Nevitt, Aaron Lockwood, Brandon Kenyon and Kaleb Olejniczak all finished with RBI’s.  Puente picked up the win on the mound tossing 5 solid innings while Alex Long notched the save.

Perry improves to 9-16 and 5-7 in RRC action.  Perry will return home tonight to take on Ballard.  You can listen to the game on KDLS starting at 7:15.
