A notice for Greene County residents, several offices and businesses will be closed in Jefferson on Monday in observance of the Independence Day holiday.

The Greene County Courthouse, Greene County Chamber office, Greene County Extension office, Greene County Community Center, Jefferson City Hall, Jefferson Public Library and the Jefferson Post Office will all be closed on Monday. The Jefferson Municipal Pool will close at 4pm that day.

The library staff would like to remind everyone that nothing is due to the library when it is closed for a holiday.

Jefferson City staff also reminds residents that due to the holiday on Monday, garbage routes will be delayed one day and will return to their normal schedules the following week.
