A private family graveside service for Sara Melson, 97, of Silverdale, Washington and formerly of Jefferson, will be Saturday at the Jefferson Cemetery.  An Open House with the family present to greet friends will be held Saturday at 2 pm at the Milwaukee Railroad Depot at 507 E. Lincoln Way in Jefferson.  Memorials are suggested to the Greene County Historical Society and may be left at the Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home in Jefferson.  Survivors include:  Children, Carrie Lou Hollenbeck of Port Orchard, Washington, Steven John Melson, MD of Seattle, Washington, Sara Jean Shuster of Port Orchard, Washington, Celia Anne Brunow of Jefferson, Eugene Randall Melson, Jr. of Southworth, Washington and Cynthia Jane Harris of Bremerton, Washington.  9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren.
