A Rippey man was sentenced for a March incident.
According to court documents, 23 year-old Nathan James Flinn pled guilty to the amended charges of serious misdemeanors for driving with a revoked license and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time already served and one year of probation.
The charges stem from a two-vehicle accident that happened on March 21st at the curve of 235th and 230th streets. Flinn crossed the centerline and his vehicle sideswiped an oncoming vehicle. During the investigation, the deputy found drugs on Flinn and he had been driving with a revoked license.
He was also ordered to pay over $1,300 in fines, along with court costs, attorney fees, surcharges and victim restitution.
Flinn was additionally charged with no proof of insurance and misdemeanors for possession of prescription medication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine, but court documents show that the charges were changed to the two serious misdemeanors.
