It was a tough night for the ADM baseball team at home last night as they dropped a tough match up to class 3A’s 4th ranked team in Saydel high school.
The Tigers stood strong and came alive with the bats and remained steady in the field but couldn’t muster a win as Saydel edged ADM by the final score of 8-5.
ADM will have to move on quickly from that contest with a quick turn around for tonight’s contest. Tonight they’ll welcome in another top ranked team, however this time the ranked team will reside in class 4A as 6th ranked Lewis Central will stroll into Tiger Stadium tonight. Lewis Central will enter tonight’s contest having been the victors in their prior 12 contests. They have only faced one Raccoon River Conference team to this point in a May 28th lose to Boone.
ADM will look to make it 0-2 for Lewis Central against the RRC tonight as they intend on playing the role of spoiler to the Titans 12 game win streak. The game tonight can be heard on K107.9 FM and online at raccoonvalleyradio.com. Pregame will get things kicked off around 6:45 pm with first pitch slated for 7:00 pm from Tiger stadium.
