The Guthrie Center softball team’s season ended earlier than they would have hoped, Tuesday night at home. The Tigers fell by a score of 9-8 to visiting Coon Rapids-Bayard. A three-run rally in the bottom of the 7th by the Tigers made things exciting until the very end. The Tigers end their season with an overall record of 7-17. The Crusaders of Coon Rapids-Bayard continue their postseason tonight with a trip to a very tough Newell-Fonda team.
