Hotel Greenfield is the winner of a recent regional business grant from Main Street Iowa.

Main Street Greenfield Director Stacie Hull says the hotel represented the community last month in a competition similar to the television show “Shark Tank”, in which a company pitches their business model to a panel of judges. “We went to Osceola to participate in that regional competition and Hotel Greenfield was the winner selected, so they will go on to compete at the state level.”

Hotel Greenfield was awarded an $8,000 grant to expand their business after winning the regional program, and could win an additional $20,000 if they’re victorious at the state competition, which takes place Tuesday, August 2nd in Mason City.
