Funeral services for Dale F. Wicks, 97, of Madrid and formerly of Adel, will be Thursday at 10:30 am at the Panther Creek Church of the Brethren near Adel.  Burial will be in the Church of the Brethren Cemetery at Panther Creek.  Visitation will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the McCalley Funeral Home in Adel.  Family will be present from 5 pm to 7 pm.  A prayer service will begin at 7 pm.  Memorial contributions may be directed to Panther Creek Church of the Brethren or Heifer Project.  Online condolences may be left for the family at mccalleyfuneralhome.com.  Survivors include:  Children, John Wicks of Des Moines, Janet Russell of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, Roy Wicks of Woodward, Peter Wicks of Adel and Alan Wicks of Minburn.  Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
