Anyone 16 years or older and have not completed their high school degree are eligible for the High School Equivalency Diploma program.

Classes are through Iowa Central Community College and will be at the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson. It will be a combination of classroom time and online instruction consisting of math, writing, reading, science and social studies. Marla Orfield will lead the classes. Participants will be preparing to take the computer based test to receive their High School Equivalency Diploma from the Department of Education.

Classes will be held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 8:30pm with no classes on July 26th. Orientation will be held tonight.
