The Nodaway Valley baseball team is heading to the Class 1A state tournament tonight.

The 8th seeded Wolverines will do battle with top seed, and number one ranked Newman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. at Principal Park in Des Moines. Nodaway Valley has a record of 19-10, and Newman Catholic is 32-5.

This is the first ever trip to state for Nodaway Valley’s baseball team.
