Greene County dispatchers were advised by the Webster County Sheriff’s Office of a single vehicle rollover accident that occurred on R Avenue, just into Greene County. Deputies from Webster County and Gowrie Fire and Rescue were already on scene upon the Greene County Deputy’s arrival. The 2002 Dodge Dakota which is owned by Robert Ray Busick 38, of Fort Dodge, was located with no driver present at the scene. The accident is under investigation by the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy assisted Greene County Emergency Medical Services personnel with an unattended death in the 300 block of South 19th Street in Grand Junction.

A deputy was dispatched to the 700 block of Sand Street in Churdan to investigate the report of illegal burning. The homeowner was advised of the city ordinance about burning improper materials.

A deputy spoke with a Churdan resident about a harassment concern and the procedure to put a Protective Order in place.

A deputy spoke with a resident in the 1100 block of 290th Street about his receiving an IRS phone scam.

A deputy was dispatched to the 400 block of 195th Street to investigate a burglary and theft of personal property from a residential garage.

A deputy was advised of an open door to a residence in the 1000 block of Sand Street in Churdan. The deputy checked the home and secured the storm door.

A deputy checked the report of an anhydrous ammonia smell coming from the fertilizer plant in the 2200 block of Neola Avenue.

Tuesday, July 26th

A deputy was advised of a suspicious vehicle in the 400 block 0f 195th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
