The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for Adair and Guthrie counties until 3 p.m. today.
Heavy precipitation over the past several hours has dropped upwards of five inches of rain over parts of southern Guthrie County, and much of Adair County.
Excessive runoff from the rain could cause flooding to creeks and streams, farmland and rural roads. Remember to never drive through standing water.
