Perry High School wrestling Coach Trevor Kittleson recently turned in his letter of resignation to accept the assistant coaching position at Loras College in Dubuque.  The move was effective immediately.  Kittleson guided the Perry program the past 5 years and has enjoyed a number of team and individual accomplishments.

Kittleson will be fulfilling a lifetime dream at a very young age of coaching at the college level under Loras 1st year Head Coach TJ Miller.

“It was simply an opportunity that he couldn’t pass up,” smiled current assistant coach JP Hulgan.  “We are going to miss him.  He was so good with the student-athletes.”

Kittleson just returned to Perry after spending last week in Fargo with a group of select high school All Stars competing in the Fargo competition.

The search is currently underway to find Kittleson’s replacement.  Be listening for Shawn Kenney’s farewell interview with the former Bluejay coach next week on Raccoon Valley Radio.
