A deputy initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for improper plates and subsequently arrested Troy Angelo MCGee 47, of Fort Dodge, on an outstanding warrant from Webster County.

A deputy and the Jefferson Fire Department assisted the driver of a semi tractor-trailer that was experiencing mechanical issues at the intersection of Highway 30 and 4. The truck was loaded with live hogs that were becoming stressed due to the extreme heat and humidity. The Jefferson Fire Department provided a cool wet down until the truck was operational.

A deputy was asked to check an abandoned vehicle parked along the roadway on Highway 25 south of 280th Street. The vehicle was unoccupied upon the deputy’s arrival.

A deputy was dispatched to the 200 block of South 19th Street in Grand Junction to investigate criminal mischief to the rear window of a vehicle.

A deputy was asked to assist a Greene County jailer with an unruly inmate in the Greene County jail.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
