Midwest Partnership will host an event next week to help area businesses plan for the future.

 

Executive Director Sarah Gomez says the two-part Succession Planning Workshops will teach community leaders skills to assist business leaders, and the second workshop will be for business owners interested in beginning their own succession plan.

 

The workshop will teach business owners about family dynamics in business, strategies to create a more valuable company, role transitions, legal tools and more. Community leaders will learn to engage business owners on these practices in keeping community businesses strong for generations to come.

 

The first session of the workshop, facilitated by Advance Iowa, takes place Tuesday, August 23rd from noon-3 p.m., and the second portion takes place from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
