Ambulances, fire trucks, squad cars, a helicopter, snow plows, a street sweeper and more will all be on display this weekend in the Perry Hy-Vee parking lot.
The second annual Perry Safety Day takes place Saturday from 10am until 1pm. Various city employees will be on hand to educate both children and adults on how the machinery works, how much it costs and where the money comes from.
It’s a free, interactive event that’s open to the public.
