It was another wet week in the Raccoon River Valley.
According to the National Weather Service, Perry received more than 4.2 inches of rain since our last report and Guthrie Center saw 1.83 inches this week.
Perry has received around five and a quarter inches of precipitation so far this month and around 4.4 inches has fallen over Guthrie Center, well over the normal totals of 1.4 to 1.6 inches.
In terms of drought conditions, the central portion of Guthrie County remains abnormally dry according to the National Drought Mitigation Center.
