Summer might be is winding down, but there are several activities at the children’s department of the Jefferson Public Library.
Children’s Librarian Terry Clark says youth can enjoy Minion activities the entire month of August. Plus, there will be a free Minion movie tomorrow at 1pm. Clark notes that any four year-olds to fifth graders are invited to the movie where there will be free pop and popcorn provided. Attendees are also encouraged to bring their own brown bag lunch. Any child under the age of seven must have a parent or guardian present at all times.
The return of Ready Reader’s Story Time began earlier this month. It is on Tuesdays from August 10th through September 14th. There is a different craft, games, books and puppet show each week. The one-hour program starts at 10am. Children three to six years-old or younger must have a parent or guardian present during the program.
