Funeral services for Dallas “Pete” VanKirk , 77, of Perry will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, August 22 at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in Perry. Burial will be in the Mowrer Cemetery in Perry at a later date. Visitation will be on Sunday, August 21 from 1:00 to 7:00 PM, with family present from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Carris Family Funeral Home in Perry. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be given in his name to the Perry High School Foundation and may be left at the funeral home. Survivors include: Wife, Joce VanKirk of Perry. Children, Kirk VanKirk of Perry, DeLynn Stein of Barnum, and Darek VanKirk of Perry. As well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
