The 120 year-old floors at Greenfield’s Warren Cultural Center have a new look.

Executive Director Ken Sidey says Phillips’ Floors, of Indianola, recently refinished the original floors from 1896. He adds that the wood in the Norman Lear Theatre is a bit unusual. “I’m told that’s fir wood, and in a way that’s old-growth fir. When they put that in, in 1896 those were probably original trees that they cut down, so that’s interesting wood.”
