T-minus one week for the ADM boys and girls cross country teams as they make their 2016 season debuts with the Urbandale Invitational this Saturday.
With the inagural meet of the 2016 looming both Tiger teams are tying up some loose ends and solidifying some weak points from the start of practices. ADM head cross country coach David Zwank is very pleased with the progress that’s been made but states that the issue of depth is still a concern for the Tigers.
“We need to keep a balance and keep pushing. We’re a little lighter on depth than we’ve had for the past couple years in terms of dealing with injuries so that’s a concern there,” stated coach Zwank.
The Tigers will take on a whole host of teams for the Urbandale invitational that will include the likes of Urbandale, Indianola, Dowling-Catholic, DesMoines Hoover, and Earlham. They are working tirelessly to become as prepared as possible to commence their 2016 season with a high note.
