The City of Guthrie Center is still seeking residents interested in being appointed to a City Council seat, which will be vacant on September 13th, when Councilor Patrick Halsey resigns to move to Adel.

Council meetings take place the first and third Mondays of each month at 6 p.m. at City Hall.
The individual appointed to the seat will serve through December 2017. For more information stop by City Hall.
