It could be a convertible, golf cart, hay rack, trailer, bicycle or anything else you can imagine… the Perry Chamber invites everyone to take part in this year’s homecoming celebration.
We’ve told you about how the parade is returning this year, but Chamber Director Bob Wilson says it’s about more than just that.
“The bigger floats we’re going to park on Second Street for an hour or so after the parade. This gives you an opportunity to come downtown, we’ll have a cookout, there will be chalk painting, the windows will be all painted by then, the (Raccoon Valley Radio) Big Red Radio will be down there. Just lots of great stuff going on to celebrate not only the school district but the entire community for homecoming.”
Anyone who would like to take part in the parade, offer an activity downtown the evening of Wednesday, September 28th or help sponsor the event is encouraged to contact the Chamber.
