The Stuart Cottage Pantry assisted hundreds of community members in the month of August.

Chair Vi Jones says the pantry assisted 90 households totaling 285 people last month.

Donated items needed at this time include Jell-O, pudding, cake and brownie mix, condiments, instant potatoes and toiletries.
The pantry is open Wednesdays from 1:30-5:00 p.m. at 117 North Sherman Street.
